About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use LocalAgent.in, whether you are browsing, sending a property enquiry, or asking to be listed as an agent. By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy and Disclaimer.

What LocalAgent.in is

LocalAgent.in helps users discover local real-estate agents, agent profiles, properties and related information. We list agents as Manually Reviewed Local Agents after our team has reviewed their request.

Using the website

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Give accurate information, and use only a mobile number and email address that belong to you.
• Use the website for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.

Property enquiries and communications

When you send an enquiry, relevant information, such as your name, mobile number and enquiry details, may be shared with the relevant agent so that they can respond. We may confirm your mobile number with a WhatsApp one-time code.

Where appropriate and permitted, we and agents may contact you about your enquiry through WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, email and phone. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is handled.

Agent Profile Requests

An agent may submit a request to be considered for listing on LocalAgent.in.

• Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance.
• Submitting a request does not automatically create or publish an agent profile.
• We may contact the applicant and manually review the information submitted.
• We may carry out further checks, including a review of the business location where appropriate.
• We may approve, reject, suspend or remove a profile where appropriate.

Agent responsibilities

Agents are responsible for the accuracy and legality of everything they submit or publish through LocalAgent.in, including where applicable:

• name and business information;
• contact details;
• RERA registration and other regulatory details;
• property information, pricing and availability;
• photographs and other media;
• claims about ownership or authority to market a property.

Agents must keep their information up to date, have the right to use any media they provide, and follow all laws that apply to their work.

Property listings and information

Listing details can change at any time and may be supplied by agents, owners, partners or other sources. Please verify material details, such as price, availability, area, approvals and possession, independently before you decide. See our Disclaimer.

RERA

Agents and property advertisers remain responsible for their own RERA registration and other regulatory duties. Showing a RERA number on LocalAgent.in does not replace checking the relevant official RERA authority, and it does not mean that LocalAgent.in has approved or certified anything.

Paid services

Some services for agents are paid, such as agent subscription plans, paid listings, featured agent promotions and lead packages. The price, duration and what is included are shown before you pay.

Purchases cannot be cancelled once payment has been processed, and payments are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please read it before you buy.

No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee any property sale, purchase or rental, any number of leads or enquiries, customer conversion, price appreciation, rental yield or investment outcome.

What you must not do

• Provide false, misleading or fraudulent information, or pretend to be someone else.
• Post or promote unlawful listings or services.
• Scrape, copy or harvest data or personal information from the website, or use bots or automated tools to abuse it.
• Interfere with or damage the website, its security or its availability.
• Send harmful code, spam or abusive messages.
• Infringe anyone else’s rights, including copyright, trademark and privacy.

Content you submit

You confirm that you have the right to share the information you submit. You allow LocalAgent.in to use it to run the platform, review requests and, for approved profiles, show it on the website.

Intellectual property

The LocalAgent name and logo, the website’s design, text, layout and other platform materials belong to LocalAgent.in or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission, except for normal personal use of the website.

Third-party websites and services

The website may link to or use services run by others. They have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Suspension and removal

We may remove content, suspend or remove a profile, or restrict access where we reasonably believe information is misleading, abusive or unlawful, or that these Terms or our policies have been broken.

Limits on our responsibility

LocalAgent.in is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss that comes from relying on listings or agent statements, from dealings between users and agents, from third-party websites, or for indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit.

Nothing in these Terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited under the law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute connected with them will be subject to the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Using the website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
